About

Have you ever felt like you were destined for greatness? Ever felt the urge to impact positively on the lives of many? How about big dreams that your friends consider extraordinary? If yes, you are just like me.

Ever since I was a young boy, I succumbed to a disease. Such a persistent disease that digs deep into one’s veins, gets to the blood stream and becomes part of your DNA. The ailment was so severe that it engulfed my entire brain and my thoughts just circulated around it. In addition, it knew no limits as it was infectious over time. The disease is referred to as the Winning Attitude.

I was blessed to be born with the talent of drawing. However, my mother tells me I didn’t draw many cartoons or any other fun stuff like most kids. I dirtied the walls of any room I got to with pencil sketches of cars and houses. As a kid of course, it didn’t make much sense but then I realized, those were my dreams. Dreams that I was willing to flood my plump body with sweat to achieve. I was fat by the way and I liked it. Hahaha…

My parents being career people of the medical field, the “cliche” narrative was passed down to me – Go to school, work hard, get a good job and your life will be amazing. I grasped that pretty well and lived by it. The Winning Attitude drove me towards academic success and I liked the amazing feeling of being celebrated and getting rewards.

On one particular evening, I was watching TV or rather the idiot box, as one of my mentor calls it. I had just completed my high school education and I was waiting for admission to the University of Nairobi. It was time for the news bulletin and I watched a sad story of a brilliant young man. The latter had scored grade A from one of the national schools in Kenya and graduated with a First Class Honors from university. According to my upbringing, this was the epitome of success. Shockingly, this young man had been reduced to a street urchin all because of the hostile job market of the country.

This awful ending of such a genius bothered me for quite some time. It clearly challenged my mindset – Go to school, work hard, get a job and your life will be amazing. And yes, I came to learn that notion died with the dinosaurs. Does that mean that my parents, just like many others lied to us? The answer is No. There’s a large generational gap between our parents and the youth of today. The world has changed beyond the imaginable and is still changing.

Our schools are all about nurturing employees and climbing the corporate ladder yet the world is not looking for job seekers but job creators. I was lucky to realize this quite early through a book that restructured my entire mindset: Why “A” Students work for “C” students and “B” students work for the government by Robert T. Kiyosaki. Remember, the only thing that can destroy iron is its own rust and likewise, the only thing that can destroy You is your own Mindset. This book taught me to think of creating a corporate ladder instead of climbing one.

At one point, I “dropped out of school” as many say; but to me, I just chose to chase my dreams. I felt empty studying electrical & electronics engineering. It just wasn’t me. I realized this deep feeling of making an impact and instantly fell in love with the entrepreneurial world, so much so that I’d give up everything just for it. But why? Because I learnt entrepreneurs are passionate people with a burning desire to change the world for the betterment of all. That was me. Many thought I had gone nuts but I knew what I wanted for my life.

I thank God that I found a great opportunity to mentor and inspire a multitude. Through my business and project MMZ(Mentor Me Zack), am glad to have contributed to the success of a deluge of young people turned entrepreneurs. I get so delighted to see young people take charge of their financial lives and make the best out of it. I feel so blessed and grateful for the life I live and the many achievements that I have acquired. My joy comes from impacting positively on people’s lives and not money. In fact, I’d still do what I do for no pay.

I’ve had the opportunity to speak on stages to tell my story to thousands of people and pass down the lessons, knowledge and wisdom that I’ve acquired over time. Oh and I’ve definitely spread the Winning Attitude to quite a number. Hahaha…

It’s Great To Meet You My New Friend.

Let me know how I can add value to you!

I like what he says, “I am addicted to helping people win and take over their financial status. I am addicted to influencing, motivating and inspiring people to become better every single day. I am addicted to an incurable disease called the WINNING ATTITUDE and no one can STOP ME!” I could write an entire page about this extraordinary man. In short, you are a true legend that I and many youths look up to. Massive thanks for your immense dedication to supporting me on my journey to financial freedom.
